Scott B. Shapiro

Scott B. Shapiro is the founder of the Law Offices of Scott B. Shapiro, P.C. and an attorney with 30 years of experience representing clients in Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and Entertainment Law matters. He also serves as the Head of the Workers’ Compensation Division at Sherwood Law Group.

Scott began his legal career representing insurance companies and employers in Workers’ Compensation defense, gaining valuable insight into how injury claims are evaluated, litigated, and resolved. In 2001, he founded the Law Offices of Scott B. Shapiro, P.C., shifting his focus to representing injured individuals in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury matters. Drawing on his experience in both defense and plaintiff-side representation, Scott brings a strategic and practical approach to every case, combining legal insight with focused advocacy to advance his clients’ personal and professional interests. The firm places a strong emphasis on communication and accessibility, ensuring clients understand the legal process and their available options at every stage.

Throughout his career, Scott has secured multiple six- and seven-figure settlements and won significant trial awards on behalf of injured clients, including cases involving catastrophic injuries, spinal injuries, paralysis amputations and repetitive trauma claims. He has also served as a guest lecturer on Workers’ Compensation matters for insurance companies, unions, and trade organizations. 

Scott also has extensive experience in Entertainment Law, representing a diverse range of clients in the creative industries, including musicians, bands, producers, managers, actors, poets, reality television personalities, promoters, and talent representatives.
